A timer you can control mid-set.

HIIT, Tabata, and custom intervals — right in your browser. Set it up in ten seconds, train, then send the whole group one link.

Workoutimer is an online interval timer for HIIT, Tabata, and shareable workouts. Free, no install, no ads.

This is what it looks like mid-workout

The countdown reads from three meters away. The phase fills the whole screen, not just an icon. A stray tap can't stop the workout.

Three steps. Ten seconds.

Set it once. Press start. Send it whenever.

01

Dial in your intervals

Preparation, work, rest, exercises, and rounds — set with steppers, not sliders, so sweaty fingers still work.

02

Press start

The phase fills the whole screen and the countdown is the only thing on it. Sound, vibration, and voice cues carry you through every transition.

03

Save it, or send it

Keep it in your browser, or turn it into a link and send it to the group. It opens already set up — nothing to explain.

Built for the workout, not a screenshot

Setup, the workout itself, and the finish. Exactly what you'll see when you press start.

See the total workout time before you start it. Presets for Tabata, HIIT, and EMOM sit right above the parameters.
You can tell the phase apart with peripheral vision, even in direct sun. Stop needs a hold, so the workout can't end by accident.
The finish inverts the whole screen — a signal you can't miss. The primary action is to run the same workout again.

Why a browser, not an app

No installation, no lock-in. A link that works everywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. Workoutimer runs in the browser on mobile, tablet, and desktop. If you want it on your home screen, you can add it as a web app.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes, and portrait mobile is the primary format. Controls sit within thumb's reach, and the countdown is readable from three meters away.

How do I send a workout to someone else?

A button next to the setup creates a link with the whole configuration. Whoever opens it gets the workout already set up and ready to start.

Where are my workouts saved?

In your browser, with no account and nothing sent to a server. If you clear your browser, saved workouts disappear with it — a cloud library is part of Pro.

Is Workoutimer free?

The whole timer is free, with no limit on the number of workouts. Pro adds named links, a library, and display mode.
